"Awake "は、RWBYのシーズン8の6話 "Midnight （真夜中）"で、幼少期のシンダーと彼女を鍛えたローデスの戦いの場面で（短く）流れる楽曲。
Casey Lee Williamsのバンド、Ok GoodnightのEP "Under the Veil "と、RWBY Vol.8 サントラに収録されているが、どうやらRWBYの物語にフィーチャーした楽曲ではない模様。
歌詞が特徴的で、何をイメージしているのかまでは分からないが、なぜか惹かれる楽曲。氷雪帝国のエンディング曲だった早見沙織の"Awake"ともまったく関係がないようだ。（最初、タイアップ曲かと思った）
